The Families for Equity and Diversity Committee at Boston Latin School is a parent/guardian run committee that meets several times during the school year in the evening. The group is open to all members of the community.

When was the committee started?

The Families for Equity and Diversity Committee at Boston Latin School was started in fall of 2016.

 

Why was the committee formed?

The committee was established to give parents and guardians a forum to build relationships and communicate with one another regarding issues of equity and diversity within the BLS community. 

 

Who is on the Families of Equity and Diversity Committee?

The committee is open to all parents/ guardians of current students at Boston Latin School, as well as BLS faculty and staff.

When does the committee meet?
The committee seeks to meet monthly throughout the school year. See the meetings and events page for meeting dates.

Can I be a part of the committee even if I can't come to meetings?

Yes! The group is open to all members of the BLS community. You can participate by sharing ideas and resources, attending meetings, or taking part in one of the events.
